One of my baby conures two back toes are all swollen. He is a little over three weeks old and I just noticed this problem. Does anyone know whats wrong?

Its really infected now. Is there anything I can put on it that would make it better? (but would not make him sick if he eats it)

Honestly, I have never been to the vet!
