when birds molt, including budgies, over time they will eventually loose every feathers in their body... but of course it doesn't all happen at once!! Don't worry about the bent feather, it'll be molted out sooner or later. Smile

Yep, don't worry. It's normal for them to lose even their big long feathers. Can you imagine a macaw? Did you ever notice how big their tail feathers are? About as long as your arm!! Shocked I could only imagine seeing a dropped macaw feather, my heart would probably sink seeing it the first time Laughing Like Cheeta said, dont worry about the bent one either. Is it kinda broken or just grown bent (not quite straight)? If it's broken, it'll fall off and not to worry. It's the broken blood feathers that can send you into a panic because they'll scream in pain Sad then you'll have to pull the feather or take him to a vet to get it pulled. But it sounds like an old feather that no longer has the blood in it. He's fine Wink
