Alright I'm going over later Blueberry is in a towel we're keeping her warm..
I have some water mixed w/mineral bird supplement and special herbs, which i will give her thru an eye dropper, and baby food I might give her..
we think its her crop her mom fed her a whole grain bagel and her crop is full and hard its impacted shes rubbing it to loosen it up
when she had her seizure, she threw her head back and wings out and started shaking
HELP! |

Oh I'm so sorry to read about blueberry. is the seizures tumour related? I really don't know what to say Haley.
Is there a way that you can work out an installment payments if you don't have enough money now? my vets here allows that especially if's it an emergency case where it's forseen circumstances. may be you can give an avian vet a ring to at least get some sort of advice.
Keeping her warm is a good idea. I'm so sorry, I really don't know what else I can advice you on since I'm not a vet. I hope little Blueberry will be ok.

Sorry Haley, I'm not a vet, so I'm afraid all I can advise is to keep the bird warm, maybe in a shoe box & in a somewhat darkened area & to consult an avian vet.
I really, really hope for the best for the little guy!
Is her seizure over?? If not, I wouldn't try to feed or water her until some time afterward. |

I remember someone telling someone else in another forum that I visit that if the birds are having seizure, just gentley sort of cup it in your palms, but I'm not sure how good that is. I'm so sorry.

Haley,
You are doing the right thing to prevent shock, also try getting the humidty up as well and keep her as quite as you can.

Haley, could your friend telephone a vet? I don't know, maybe the vet would have a big heart & agree to look at Blueberry free of charge.
I would say you're doing everything you can for him. I'm sorry there's not more I can do or advise |
