Ive added a couple of pics to my diary, he/she is getting so big growing like a weed Had a close call with it's mommy this morning. The mean old guine ran at her and hit her pretty hard. I thought he broke her wing. Anyway needless to say that there are guine feathers all over the place cause I was running him trying to catch him and get him out of there. I had been wanting to move him anyway cause of Solo learning to fly soon and all. So he is out of there and now I hope the peacocks don't give me a problem . So far they don't pay any attention to the pigeons they are too busy paceing the fence all the time to worry about them
On my way to work so talk to yall later |

Hi D,
Solo is getting so big.... and looks as if he/she is gonna be a stunner...
So you have moved the Pidgeons to the Peacock pen?

It's always amazing to me how quickly baby birds seem to grow! |

The pigeons have always lived in the peacock run along with a gunie bird that I have had for 8 years. I hate I had to take him out of there cause he has always lived with the peacocks but I don't want anything beating up on anything else. I really hate to do it but don't know what else to do |

Dana,
You really have your hands full. Maybe we need to buy some land next door to move to and then you could help with our birds too...

hmmmm ... that is a dilemma. I sure hope you get things figured out. Maybe you'll just have to remove the guine temporarily? |

everyone is happy except the guine. He is living in the flight cage with Cleo and Ramsey. Bless their hearts they never mind who I put in the flight cage with them. There have been geeese and ducks and now this one and they never bother them (well so far ) Maybe I'll come up with something where the guine can be back out there with the peacocks but not with the pigeons gotta think on that one.
John & Carrie, there is plenty of land down here by me so anytime. I'd love to have someone to help take care of my animals and I wouldn't mind helping yall. Us animal lovers have to stick together and help out when we are able. |

Got some more "Solo sugar" today :lol:He is growing and changing everyday. I was worried about him and went out early to check on him as it rained yesterday and I wondered if it was blowing in on him.Well he was dry but poopy. i cleaned him up and I went and borrowed some hay from Dutchess and put him fresh in his nest box. Of course while I had him out I had to get some sugar! He's so cute!I'll get some pics tomorrow cause today was cloudy |

Dana.
What a lovely mother you make... No wouber you have 33 birds.... There must be a flashing sign on the "Duck Freeway south" that says "Here is a Good place to stay".... Then just below it is says "Vacancy"...

The sign reads " FREE MEALS WITH ROOM AND BOARD: ANIMALS ONLY"
Speaking of signs I would like to get a wooden sign made any of yall do tht kind of work? Let me know. I want it to say :
"Happy Endings Goose & Duck Sanctuary"
I'd like a goose and duck on it but I might have to get some type of wooden one that stands out to be put on there or something. Anyway suggestions let me know. |
