| Help! Splayed leggs |
|
|
Ok, need some advice.
Silver doves, 2 eggs, 1 hatched.
Now 10 days old/ eyes just starting to open.
But one of it's legs is splayed right out.
I am thinking of hand rearing it and putting it into a small tub so it cannot splay out its leg. I fear that f i leave it, it'll get worse and unrepairable.
Obvioulsy i don't want to hand rear a dove but.........
What'd you think??? |

Hi!
Baby is fine! I don't think it was splayed legs now , just me being panicky.. but i put loads of little twigs and hay in the nest, i think it didn't have anything to hold it's legs onto. And now it's fine!
Thanks for your help, i'll get some pictures! |
