Sad I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your goose. He must have been hurting bad. May he fly free over the RainBow Bridge.

Crying or Very sad Ohhh so sorry to hear you had to put your goose down. Lord knows Ive lost many and it never gets any easier to handle. People tell me " It's just a bird Dana or just a goose for goodness sake". Those of course are the people who have never loved one or more than one the way we all have.

I just told a friend of mine the other day that I still have not turned on the oven because of what happened to Sunny and my other house birds 3 years ago and she could not believe it. She said " Dana it was just a bird not a child". Well to me they were my childern and no one will ever know the pain I have felt not having him and th others with me, and the guilt I have for this happening. So I just don't try to explain anymore. When someone ask me when Im gonna bake one of my pies or cakes I use to make, I just tell them I haven't baked in 3 years.

So know that we are thinking of your goose and we know you did all could could for him and that's all we can do, but it doesn't make it any easier. Comfort
