Last 4 Coming ( I mean it this time LOL)
Ok the last 4 adoptees are coming on Wednesday from another rescue. These will be the last 4 that I will take in. 2 are macovey females and the other 2 are a pair of geese. I had promised a friend 2 years ago that if she ever needed to find homes for her 4 then I would take them. She is now closing down her rescue so they are coming to live with us at the Happy Endings Goose and Duck Sanctuary.
As bad as I hate to say this " I have enough to take care of". I think there comes a time when if a person can't spend the time needed to give to their animals then you don't need any more. As much as I love all my critters I feel that Im at the point that I can't spend all the time I want with them and it's not fair to them. The ducks and geese have been without my company the most as I haven't had time to sit outside with them the way I had planned. There are 30 geese and ducks that I have now.
Someone the other day at work asked me how many animals I have. Well I couldn't even give them a number, I just said way too many. I have given many homes that otherwise would have been turned loose into a towns pond or maybe even eaten for someones dinner. Im sorry for all the others that Im not able to take in but with the cost of feed and vet bills it is really costing a pretty penny ( well really dollars) to take care of them all. I feel bad about it but one has to do what one has to do...

Hey Dana, those 4 must be home by now. How are they doing? Sorry for my late response by the way..

Yep they are here and doing great. I took my name off the Duck Rescue Group so I hope these will be the last. I have my hands full with 24 now. Found homes for some which was great but I plan on keeping these I now have as Ive got attached to them I would say that I will post pics but I never get around to doing that it seems so I won't say I will So when your checking the fluffies post and you see new pics from Dana, oh boy what a surprise
