| New Geese & Ducks at Dana's |
|
|
New geese and ducks arrived safe and sound. Didn't have a hard time with them getting use to the routine around here. They took to the pool the first day I let them toghter with my flock. There was some belly pushing with a couple of them but that is normal. I think that will go on since I have so many males over females. Come spring time there will be a lot of unhappy drakes cause a bunch of them will have to be seprated or there will be too much fighting and running the females down. can't have that. I'll post some pics as soon as can |

Great Dana,
How are you doing young lady, What did the Doc say...
By the way, just curious. When I get new birds in I quarentine (SP) them for 30 days at lest. It would seem like that would be the same with Ducks and Geese or is it different with them?

Awww Dana! What a wonderful place you have there! I just took a peak at your new ducks, geese and also the pigeons.
I had never seen pigeons like the black one! |

I'll contact the lady who sent them and see what breed he/she is, I don't know I just adopted what she needed to move. Sorry to say I don't know a whole lot about them yet. And yes they are pretty Thank you |
