New Geese & Ducks at Dana's  Reply with quote

Laughing New geese and ducks arrived safe and sound. Didn't have a hard time with them getting use to the routine around here. They took to the pool the first day I let them toghter with my flock. Laughing There was some belly pushing with a couple of them but that is normal. I think that will go on since I have so many males over females. Come spring time there will be a lot of unhappy drakes cause a bunch of them will have to be seprated or there will be too much fighting and running the females down. Crying or Very sad can't have that. I'll post some pics as soon as can Wink

Great Dana,

How are you doing young lady, What did the Doc say...

By the way, just curious. When I get new birds in I quarentine (SP) them for 30 days at lest. It would seem like that would be the same with Ducks and Geese or is it different with them?
