No New Duck
Well I don't know if this is good news or bad news but Im not getting the duck from Georgia. The lady said that her boyfriends family decided to keep the duck for her because they didn't want her to drive this far to bring it to me here in Florida. What worries me is something the lady said. These folks have a dog and they said they hope the dog will be ok with the duck. Well I have 2 dogs and I would never trust my dogs with my ducks and geese again . I sure hope this doesn't turn into a sad story. I e-mailed her back and told her about a experince I had with my dogs and baby goose and told her I sure hoped she didn't have to witness what I did. I will say this...the young gosling is dead. I hope it works out differently for her .

Hmmm I hope it works out good too.. I'm sorry you're not getting that ducky..
You know I once saw a vid of a dog guarding the birds.. He would chase away other animals, but would just leave the chickens of his owner run all over him.

Aww Dana, sorry to hear that you're are not getting the duck. but may be it's meant to be, some other more needy goose will come along for the very best care in the world it can get.
I hope things will come along nicely for that goose and nothing bad happens to it with the dog.
