It's good to give your birds: 5-10 ml per 1 liter water.
I give it to my birds in their water.. (I started to give it when Flit had megabacteria)
Apple vinegar contains:
vitamine P, C, E, B1, B2, B6, betacarotene (as in the carrots.. )
potassium, phosphor, chlorine, sodium, magnesium, calcium, sulphur, iron, fluorine, silicon
Besides the oral ways to use apple vinegar, there are also some other purposes to use apple vinegar.
Some examples:
Cleaner that reduces mold, odour and germs
Desinfectant for cleaning cages
Cleaner when sprouting seeds
But for cleaning, please dilute on a 1:1 ratio. Clean the cage/perches with the vinegar as you normally do. (Also food/water bowls can be cleaned with this!)
Rinse well.. |

I know this is an old post, but I was reading thru some of them & found this very interesting & something I had not heard before.
Do you give the A. vinegar in his water regularly? Or do you also keep plain water on hand for him too? |
