How often do you guys clean your cages per week? I clean all my cages every other day and wipe grates daily because they play on the bottom sometimes. Pam |

Because it makes it impossible to spray them off in the winter here, I have a tendency to wipe them down daily. In the summer I can wheel them out on my deck and spray them down. They pretty much poop in the same place so cleaning the grate is easy. My only problem is that my MSC2 is so dusty that it covers the inside of her cage everyday. In the morning when I take off her cover, her cage and even her toys are covered with dust. I have to take a wet towel and wipe it down every morning. I guess its a healthy thing she has so much dust. I should have gotten a white cage instead of a gray one.LOLKaren |

Myself l clean all my cages every couple of days to rid of the left overs on the floor or any feathers and poo! for l feel how would l like it if i was in this cage?As much as sometimes l can't be bothered l force myself to do it because it's the right thing to do in my opnion.A clean cage is a clean bird and rids of any risk of insects and bugs through constant movement on the floor area by cleaning, which insects and bugs would not like!!! |

As a rule I clean the cages 3 times a week. I take the grates out & wash them in the utility sink & clean the bottom & the top of the cages good. That's also when I shower the birds, so it's become one big routine. I wash the bowls once a day. |
