Can you catch deseises from your parrot? my partner keeps moaning at me wen my senegal kisses me and says she will give me desieses. can you guys back me up and let her know i am very safe?

Hi there

Unfortunately there are deadly disease that you CAN catch from you bird. The one that I'm thinking of psittacosis. I can't think right now, but you should do an avian disease search and you'll be able to get more information.

If you know that your birds is healthy, I don't think there's anything to worry about. I kiss my bird all the time. One thing though, just remember it's dry kisses as our saliva contains bacteria that can be fatal to your bird. Sad
