Care Sheet for Cockatiels?  Reply with quote

anyone know if there is a caresheet on the forum for cockatiels? Basically it gives general information for care of the animal.

Here's an example from a bearded dragon forum I'm on.

sorry Dan, currently we do not house caresheets for birds that I know of in the forum. however if you go through old threads in the cockatiel forums, you may find something useful in there.

Although Imust say that caresheets are good idea to have in the forum. Very Happy

they most definitely are, you can provide great general info for new owners and give some warnings so that they take care of the animal as best as they can.

well we can start making them by creating a list of info that is important to the bird's health. For example...

Cage Size requirments
Diet
Toys
Cautions or warnings
how often wings need to be clipped
taming and handling info
supplements (vitamins etc.)
Products that are dangerous to the bird
how often you should bathe the bird.

Just some rough ideas of good info for a caresheet.
