Meg,
Have you done clicker training?
Read the stuff I wrote on clicker training in Tink Legacy.
That will help you with getting recalls. Yingshiong is 32 grams,
Much smaller than your parrotlet and much more shy and timid.
It was the clicker training that formed the bridge, with Tink and YS |

Shanlung,
I thought Yingshiong was bigger than that! Still, my parrotlet is only 28 grams! I think I can crochet a harness out of pearl cotton. I did wonder, though, if a crocheted cord would be too rough to slide through the loop properly. She is close to Yingshiong's size, so perhaps her harness could be made from whatever you used for Yingshiong's.
I will hunt for your clicker training adventures in the Tink Legacy. Thank you for reminding me.
It's great to be in contact with you again. You are wonderful inspiration. |

I agree Meg... Shanlung seems like such an amazing and inspirational individual. I was glad to see him here again too. I loved all the old stories about Tinkerbell and Yingshiong!

Have you checked the petstore, maybe in the dog section if you don't find one in the bird section. You can always order one online too. |
