Clicker training  Reply with quote

I have just started clicker training my 7 month old amazon, Harley.
He has had a whole 2 5 minute sessions but seems to be respondin well. Has anyone else tried it? and have you got any hints or tips for me?
Thanks again
Michelle and Harley

Very Happy

I have never tried it, but it's something that I would be interested to try. Let us know how it works for you. Smile

Like Shirin, I've never tried it, but I think it sounds like a good thing!

He he he, Iago doesn't seem to be too interested in that clicker. I tried it on him, but I thought it worked better without the clicker.
I also tried it on Zazu and some things work ok, but not super. It worked best for Zazu to improve the things he already did.. Smile

Oh, I see Sue, you did try it with all 3 of them.
I really have always thought about trying it, I just never got around to it, but I really should.

Well I don't think I would try it with Apollo. I know that he'll be VERY VERY interested with the clicker... but only to destroy that annoying clicking thing!!! LOL...

I have doen some licker training with my dogs, cat, and horse and it worked great. I will be clicker training merlin, but won't be starting for a while yet. I want to get more confident with it and i want him to be more confident with me too! Its hard with him because he won't take treats and doesn't like scratches.. Rolling Eyes
