Sounds like he may have been vitamin deficient from being cooped up in the pet shop, birds need a certain amout of sunlight. |

Good to hear Panda ,just give him time now..(a few days to adjust to get used to a change in the routine)before you do anything else .Then introduce a food you gave him before, that he hasn't had for a week by now and see how it goes for a day or two and if all is going well??, then you know that the food is okay and so the next step goes??Meaning next food..don't be in a hurry for this progress may take up to a month to work out but in time as long as your parrot is happy and well it's all good.Keep us posted in the mean time and if you notice anything different doesn't matter how small let us know, but l'm sure you will be fine and your parrot.. |

guess what!!!!!!
wooohoooooooooooo!!!!!
Sunshine has two beautiful new blue tail feathers emerging !
and isnt looking as fluffy as he did. He likes to be out in the tree all day and makes lots of noise if you forget to go and get him around dinner time lol. I am feeling much better about his state of health and would like to take the opportunity to thank all who posted replies to me for their advice and support. I really appreciate it!
cheers
