| Lenny Is Getting Fat! Any Birdy Workout Suggestions? |

Lenny is getting fat! What should I do?
He has been eating normal, he has his seeds, a little bit of rice (cooked, but with no sauce) every 3-7 days!
I don't know what to do...We recently changed his diet, to a HEALTHYER diet with dryed fruits and veggies.
If you have any work out for lenny, my tiel, please post it here!

Hi eaglevision,
Birds getting to fat is usually the same as in humans (eat too much and move too little). Exceptions for some special diseases (most likely not).
Eaglevision: Can you tell us how much exercise does your Lenny get?
And how much does he weighs?
If your fat bird changes his diet, it can take some time before he gets to a normal weight.
PS Are you sure your bird is obese? To make sure always consult an avian vet before putting your bird on a diet! |

Thanks again, lenny is not THAT fat.
We can not affored a vet. 
Also, he gets alot of exercise, he only spends 1/4 of the day in his cage.
PS: how do you become a mod, nobody ese will answer me! |
