As bad as I know tfal is for my birds I can not part from my pans...I did buy other types and everything sticks to them and I love to cook...hence...I have all my birds on stands that have wheels...when it is time to cook I wheel them into a room on the opposite side of the house, shut the door to the room they are in and put on the overhead fan. I have never had a problem and always take great care in making sure they are in no way in harms way, I am also very, very careful to not overheat these pans, just to be safe. Teflon is wrong for having harmful chemicals in cooking material, but being a cook I have just learned to adapt.
