WOW! $650 Shocked That's got a pretty big price tag! That thing would have to clean the house by itself for that price Laughing Did you ever see one of those? They are about $2,000 if I remember right Shocked

I have hardwood, and a rug. It has a setting to switch between floor and carpet.

Shirin, your $650 is in Canadian dollars right? Mine was AUD $1000... Shocked yep a big price tag on it alright.. hehe

the self vacuum thing that CM is talking about I think is called 'Roomba'.. I've heard quite a lot of good report about them... but apparently it doesn't pick up the bigger pieces?!?! Not sure but I sure want to try one!! Very Happy it vacuum by itself.. hehe. Very Happy
I don't think they are that expensive either.. I think it's under $300USD for one.. or at least that's how much I would pay here in Australia anyway...

Interesting topic! I especially like Cathy's post.

My sister just bought a Dyson for about $700 She's got a white German Shepherd who is quite a shedder & she says it works wonders on picking up her hair.

I guess German sheperds (white) and swiss sheperds are very much alike!
