I just got 2 male cockatiels 3 weeks ago. 1 of them keeps going to the back corner of cage and looks like its laying eggs, Tail up and scoots to corner. I am now wondering if they are males or if 1 maybe female. Will males do this? He also looks to be trying to make a nest in this spot.(gathering papers ect. ) Is it just nesting? I got them from a lady who didnt really know much about them, so I am not so sure she knew they were male.

What colors are they, respectively? You could have gotten a male and a female. If you don't want cockatiel babies, I would advise seperating them. I've heard that some same-sex cockatiels can act like a breeding pair though.
