| A Love Triangle |

Oh my!  We have a love triangle going on in the bird room. First there is Misty our CAG who loves me.  Then there is Amy our redlored amazon who loves Misty.  Amy is very jealous.  I will post a video as soon as I can. Now in steps Charlie to the triangle........caught him preening Misty today.  My oh my what fun. I have to be very careful when I walk into the bird room if Amy is out. She gets so upset when Misty flys to me. I got a bite from Amy on Tuesday........ouch.

I am beginning to wonder about her,,,, Amy follows her around like a lost puppy, protects her like a mate..... Now Amy has not been DNAed yet, she is 7 years old and never layed an egg.. So to start with we are going to have DNA work on Amy, so that we can be sure that She is Real a She...... And then Misty chases after the king of the bird room Charlie..... The way Amy is, if I were Charlie I would learn how to duck.....Because Amy can fly better then Charlie...
Oh what a mixed up mess of a bird room we have every year about this time...

Thanks Cathy.........I edited the video and John picked out the song. He is better than me at matching music to our videos.

Apollo gives me that look too whenever I'm with 'his daddy'... except, he doesn't just stand there and stare at me for that long.. he stares, then flies pretty much straight away to get on my shoulder try to give me a nip in the neck. But of course he has his good days and bad days... on his good days he's very good. |

I'm becoming quite the good ducker........when she flies I duck. Luckily she is not a great flier yet.
