Hello Dana,
I just saw the sad news about King. So sorry for your loss. I hope you are getting along okay.

I'm doing better. Still miss him so much! My poor female is so lonesome I feel sorry for her. She has a gunie out there to keep her a bit company but it isn't the same.
Trying to stay busy getting ready for 5 ducks who I've adopted and will be coming next week. Just spent most of the day putting up a 6X12 dog kennel for them to stay in at night. In the daytime they will run with the rest of my geese and ducks out in the pasture.
Thanks so much for your concern, it means more thatn you will ever know. Everyone on this sight has been so nice and supportive. Thank you and to all a big Fluffies Hug |

Dana, I hope this gives you a little smile. I was trying to think of names for your new adopted ducks and I think you should name one Aflak from the commercial.I hope I spelled it correctly. I laugh everytime I see those commercials. Hewie, Dewie and Lewie would be nice too. Those are Donald ducks nephews. Have fun with your new babies. Karen |

Good to here your doing well Danabird, hope you and your husband is thinking of buying a friend for the female, might not sound good at the moment, but it's the best thing for her(peacock) and you.For as soon as she has a friend peacock with here the better it is for her to get over a lost one,she will then start to interact with her new arrival and move on.We only have once chance in life so we, or if being a bird can't do anything about it, hope our masters can help us with what we had before?Even if it is not the same a friend will do(thinking birds)... |

Hello Greg and thank you for the wisdom. Yes we will go get her a friend soon. I'm busy getting ready for these 5 ducks so haven't been able to do anyhthing with getting her a friend. I've got to call the lady and see if she has another for sale. I have to go to the little zoo where I bought Ramsey and I hate to see those animals living the way they do in those cages.
Anyway I had a wonderful 2 days off and look forward to my weekend off next weekend. Next Monday the man from Tampa is bringing the ducks and I look forward to adding some new members to our family.
I've got chicken & dumplings going now for a lady at the nursing home and gonna make some butterscotch bananna pudding for her so I gotta go. Talk to yall later.
I've sent more photos to be posted so maybe they will be there soon,
