Well Budgies are one of the most trainable and freindly keets so if you dont want a Budgie then I would steer clear of the other breeds of parakeets. I don't know too much about conure's so I would suggest sennie so if there is anything you want to know about the breed just ask

Well after thinking im still not sure. Money is a bigger factor than i thought it would be. The senegal is more than i thought so im not sure on him. I guess if i elimanate other parakeets like ringnecks then that leaves me to a few possible choices. One is stick with the budgies which is very likely. Another is get a green-cheeked conure. And finally im not sure but is a pair of love birds good for a beginner? |

After more looking i've narrowed it down to 2 options. One and the most likely is the budgie. The second is the lovebirds. Ill prolly get the budgies but thanx for all the help making me find my first bird. |

I'ld say budgie or tiel.
A sennie, I belive, isn't a good beginner bird. My sennie has hissy fits a lot and I call him my mini cockatoo, as he is a cockatoo in a sennie suit. |

You know budgies might be tiny, but they sure are packed full of character in their little tiny body.. that's why I've ended up 21 so far... They are absolutely gorgeous, and believe it or not, if you have one single male budgie, he will learn to talk quite well. though sounding quite robotic, but nonetheless, very cute voices.
Good luck with your budgie. and if you have any question regarding budgies please do not hesitate to ask. anything at all.. |
