Hello, I have a question
Is meat bad for parrots???
MY conure and quaker loves the stuff..
Hamb, beef, chicken, deli.. all...
is this good for them..???

Hi there.
Meat isn't bad for all parrots. I have read that mm2 eat more meat (from what I understand from the article) than other stuff. It's at least the first thing on their diet list.
I would be careful with feeding salted meat. (Like hamburger, beef)
Also, not all parrots eat meat in the wild.. |

Please don't feed any processed meats like deli meat. burgers ect. They contain too much salt and preservatives. I saw deli meat on the same list with caffiene, chocolate, avocado, ect. in bird talk magazine, so it's pretty bad for birds, and I wouldn't even feed it as a special treat. |
