sorry to hear that your family went out to that horrid pet store, but I guess now that you have this little one, I'm sure she'll live happily ever after!!
Can't wait to see your little one. And I can usually tell the sex of a budgie at age 4 weeks onward unless it's a recessive pied which I gets wrong half the time.. LOL |

Oh my, no sense in quarantining then A pity it didn't go as well as you'd liked, but I hope you have a healthy, happy budgie |

Aloha was said to be 6 months old (thats what the store said) but I think it might be a pied, I cant find that type of budgie in any book Maybe I'll get someone to take pics for me. its really pretty. its blue and green mixed, and some sky blue on its wings and a yellow head.
My little keet is in quarintine right now. |

I clipped its wings, she (I'm just calling it a girl now) was very good but bit me a lot. But the thing is--if this is a girl figaro is also a girl. Dont girls fight or something? Alohas been quartinied enough then the cage was moved beside fig's cage and the cages were together for a few days, and fig was let out to "check out" the cage and bird.
But they make this weird buzzing sound!!!
What does that mean? |
