| How can I introduce them to eachother?! |
|
|
hi!
I'm getting ready to start introducing the birds to each other....
not the little one yet, as, he's still in his quarrantine period....
but the rest.
I'm afraid that they'll attack each other.
I'm sure that Aiden and Qwill will get along, but what about the others?
what's a good way to start doing this? |

Hi Lynzi. You can take them to a room they've never been. Like a bathroom.
Take a flat surface, like a table. That's how I did it with my birds. And it worked. Look at Flit & Iago (Flit passed away though ) and Iago & Wheezy. Only I took them to my parents' place. I used their place as neutral terrain. |

PLEASE if you don't trust them, stop trying. I have seen a B & G macaw on the Dutch forum who was seriously hurt by a grey. There was a huge puncture in his beak.
They weren't introduced on neutral terrain though. |

yeah, they know each other vaugely.....
and I plan on taking them into a room somewhere upstairs......
(because Oskar is very mean in bathrooms ........)
I trust them with me, but I think I'll wait until one of them can't fly....so I can control them more easily......
I plan on taking it very slowly. |
