I have one cockatoo, and 7 budgies.
Does hens count as birds? I've got 5 of those wondering around the backyard as well.. |

Bih I never knew you had chickens!!! I love chickens, I used to have them when I was little. I raised them from little yellow chicks, they were so cute and would follow me around like I was their mother. Can you take pictures of yours and post them, pleeeeeeeeease? |

Hey Shirin, hehe, it's so odd to read someone getting so excited over chickens!!! LOL.
Yeah I got five chooks running around the backyard destroying all my plants!! LOL.. but they are cool. They are only the RhodeIslandRed, and also IsaBrown hens.
They follow me around as well but not all the time though, usually is when I got their food in hand and they come charging in the get their beak in first! They are beautiful! I will try to get some pics on a clear day. It's been raining for the last few days and will rain for the next few as well, and lighting isn't that great, so I'll try on a sunny day!! I'll let you know when they are in my diary pages. |

Oh yeah, I love them.. they remind me of my childhood... I guess they were my very first pets ever so I have a special place in my heart for them. I would love to keep them now, but it's not allowed in the city
By the way.. I have to say I'm a bit cooky when it comes to all birds I even love the city pigeons. Most people don't like them and call them rats with wings but I love them just as much as any bird. It's not their fault that they get a little bit dirty because we humans make our environment so polluted I go at least once a week out to a park and feed them and everyone passing by gives me dirty looks! heheh oh well! |
