Meet CRICKET our Macaw  Reply with quote

Hello, I have been trying to adopt a Severe Macaw or another cockatoo for 6 months .
GUESS WHAT..She is here
Everyone meet Cricket.
She is 8 yrs, Severe Macaw.. her owner was a single young lady and when the boyfriend came along Cricket did not like him.
So it was the BIRD or the BOY
BIRD lost..but my gain..
She needs some soical skills and does not talk..But that will change with time..
Her foster mommy did a good job with getting her to except alot of things ((LIKE MEN)) and getting her in beutiful shape
She also has a kinney disorder and needs medicine I think this is why no one adopted her.
She is doing very well with me, hubby and all the other babies we have.
Please go to my web page and meet Cricket

Thank you all for your coments about my Cricket.
She went to the vet for a check up and I found out
Cricket may not hear Crying or Very sad
she has no ear canals Exclamation
But thats ok I will teach her with hand signing
I have worked with the children and adults with special needs
so why not birds too!
I love her already.. She does have a mind of her own
I believe once she learns some commands she will be
much more happier and nice to others Razz
