I've had my green cheeck for a few weeks now, I'm soooooooooo glad that I decided on the green cheek! He's about 4 months old now, and hes so charming and playful! I've never regreted getting him. He likes to cuddle next to me, and loves playing games with me.

The little green cheek that I saw in the pet store I was thinking about buying. But I went back to the store to see him and to see how much they wanted for him and they wanted almost $400! Shocked So it looks like I won't be getting that little cutie. But I definately want one.

well how about adopting one? It's a lot cheaper, and you'd be giving a bird in need a home Smile And usually a cage is included in the adoption fee. That's how it is here, might be different in your area, but you should still look into it.

I have so got to move over to the Eastern States!! I just had a look at the department of Agriculture (WA) document regarding declared birds and what not, it says that we are not allow to keep green cheek!! It's illegal here!!! Sad I'm going to cry!! There are so many things we can't keep here, it's so unfair!!! I wanna move EAST!!! Sad

Adoption over here is more for your cockatoo ect........these other types of birds are exotics and they make them so expancive so you really have to want it to buy it Know what i mean....so they dont reallly show up for adoption.........we have a big prob with the galahs cockatoos ect because you can buy them for $50.........or some people steal them from nests for free...I expect to pay 350 -450 For my green cheek Im happy with that and this is a bird who will live for a long time and be spoilt absolutly rotten LOL
Sorry cheeta Sad Its not fair.... but you have lots of wild birds we dont get to see over this side......I send you lots of pics when I get my baby!!!!!!!!
