Best small bird toy yet!  Reply with quote

My kids had small boxes of cereal for breakfast a couple days ago(single serving size). I ripped the tops and bottoms off and gave them to the birds. They love chewing, throwing, hiding in and pooping on them! Its been 3 days and both boys are still playing with there boxes! Its to funny to watch them carry these boxes arond and yell at them when they do not do what the bird wants. LOL

Ah! I'm going to do that for my sennie Shelly! She may be too big to get inside the box, but I'm sure she'll have great fun playing with it!
I always keep those kinds of cereals around for when my grandkids visit.
Great idea! Thanks Very Happy

That's a great idea.. Though my cockatoo will just shred those up in no time at all!! Although I do the same thing for him except a carton... you know what of those cardboard boxes.. Very Happy the thicker they are the better for Apollo to play with. Though they still don't last very long.. hehe

My mum gave her little rainbow lory a clean plastic milk bottle (2L) with the top cut off, so it's just a little square tube thing... and she hides inside and sing into it and talk up a storm inside. it's so cute. It's amazing how our waste can be soooo fun for the birds. Very Happy

Hehe, yeah Apollo wouldn't be caught dead in that thing, but my mum's little RuYi could spend all her day inside the carton singing to herself.. hehe. Very Happy

I've always wondered what I could do with my breakfast waste. I bet Shrek would love some of those and his toys can get expsensive. He has chewed through two ladders already. Would have been more but I havent bought him another one.
