Daniel & Cara's Flock

Mr. Peepers is an adorable, affectionate cockatiel. His story breaks my heart. About two years ago, Mr. Peepers had half of his right wing amputated in order to completely remove a tumor. He used to be a wonderful flier but no longer has the ability to soar. If it kills me, Peeps will fly again. Whether Daniel and I rig a prosthetic wing or just take the little guy hang gliding, this is not the end of the flight of the Peepers.

Gary(right) and Lazlo(left) have been inseperable since being placed together soon after Gary hatched. Little Lazlo has splay leg but that doesn't slow her down. Notice Lazlo grasping Gary's foot.
