* There are pictures below the text* Snow My name is Snow. I am a Whiteface Lutino Cockatiel (albino). I am only 2 months old. I was hatched 5-4-06. My mother (Crystal), bought me at a local breeder called Singing Wings Aviary. They took good care of me, but they fed nothing but seeds. Mommy is still trying to convert me to pellets. She has only had me for 1 month. I will literally starve before I eat those things * yuck *. Mommy sure is determined though. I love my mommy very much. I have to be with her all the time. I know no one else. She takes me outside in the sun. I love to sit in real tree branches. It makes me feel wild and crazy hehe. Mommy doesn't like for me to play on the ground, because she doesn't want me to catch a disease or anything. "You never know what the wild birds have", that's what mom always says, I guess she's right. Well mommy just got started with the website, so give her time please. She did take some pictures today though. She will take some more tomorrow though. ______________________________________________________________ Aren't we beautiful together???! _______________________________________________________________ Infinity My name is Infinity. I am a Normal Peachface Lovebird (Agapornis Roseicollis). I have lived with my mommy for two years. Mommy has just now begun to tame me. She adopted me from a terrible home. The previous home I lived in, there were mean dogs always barking at me. Some little kids would even abuse me. Mommy rescued me though. Ever since then I have been living like a queen. I am still scared to truly let mommy hold me. Although I barely let mommy touch me, I have to be with her at all times. Or atleast be in the same room with her. I will yell my lungs off until she comes in the room. I am not tame at all. I let mommy touch me when I feel like it. I am still really scared after my experience at my other home. As you see mother doesn't have any pictures with me. Mostly because the very few times I let her hold me, she doesn't have a camera ready like she does with Snow. I get very jeaouls of Snow. Mommy spends the same amount of time with all of us, but I think she should spend all her time with me. I cannot be let out at the same time with the cockatiels. I will beat them up, and mother wouldn't like that very much. I love mommy very much, and I know she loves me too. I am just to scared to let her be with me sometimes. I am so glad that I have the home that I do now, instead of still being in that dump I was in . My mommy is glad too. Unlike my neighbor Cockatiels, I eat pellets. Mommy had no problem converting me to pellets and fresh fruit and vegetables. Mommy wants me to teach Snow and Spike how to eat like me. I wont do it though. I would rather have this up on them. They can be jealous for a change. I do love seeds though. I will eat them in a hurry if given to me. I love them. Well I guess that's all for me. _______________________________________________________________ Spike My name is Spike. I am a normal Grey Cockatiel. I am not very social. I was saved from the same house Infinity was. I was treated alittle worse. I was actually hit by the little kids. Mother saved Infinity and I on the same day. She was furious on how my previous owners treated us. I like mommy, but I won't let her touch me. I like it when she mist me with cool water. I would rather sing to mommy and mimic her whistles. Mommy gets alittle frustrated with me at times. I bite alot. I don't mean to, I am just scared. Mommy works with me everyday, trying to tame me. I haven't been tamed in the time of two years, but mommy isn't giving up on it. I like to eat a french fry everyother month . If mommy comes home with some fast food I will cry and cry until I get atleast one fry. I know it's not good for me, but everyother month isn't that bad. I am mean to my little sister Snow sometimes. When we are in the cage, I sometimes bite her if she doesn't preen me back. We get along great other than that. I am trying to be dominant, but mother will have none of that. Mother gives me a great big "NO" when I bite Snow. She then puts me back into the cage for the rest of the hour to punish me, and then takes me back out. I love mommy very much, she taught me alot. She taught me how to whistle the Andy Griffin theme song. I like to watch T.V. on the top of my cage with mommy. I take alot of naps, and I keep mommy up at night sometimes. I know mommy still loves me though. Maybe someday, she will be able to tame me. Mommy apologizes for not having a whole lot of pictures of me. I am hard to get a picture of, consdering I hide everytime mom brings the camera out. I am hard to get close to too. Mommy will try to get some more pictures of me. _________________________________________________________________  
_______________________________________________________________________ Crystal My name is Crystal McKnight. I am sixteen years old. I have been a bird lover since I was a toddler. Alot of birds go through my home. I take part in a program where birds are rescued from unwanting homes. I adopt many birds temporarily until they are found a proper home. I have seen alot of things happen to birds that I have adopted. I fell in love with Spike and Infinity and decided to adopt them permenantly. Many people buy birds not realizing the attention birds really do need. Which is what happens in the majority of the cases of the birds that go through my home. I love any kind of bird no matter what. I feed my birds pellets and fresh fruit and vegetable everyday. Well I am trying to anyway. My parents are just as much bird lovers as I. I wouldn't be able to meet many of the birds that I have met if it wasn't for my parenst participating in the program. I plan to continue on being in the program when I am 18. I just hope that people can be more aware of what a bird really needs. ________________________________________________________________________
