Congrats on taking in 2 birds that need a loving home. Be patient and don't give up on Colonel, it will take time but will eventually come around. Just keep working with him.
Hope to see some pics soon. |

Thats horriable about what the owners did to poor Colonel and his poor cage mate. Luckily the neighbour phoned and he got out of there, and luckily a nice person like you took him in. Congrats on Cry Baby. He sounds great. toos are wonderful birds.

Thanks John. I am extremely proud of him. Now am working on trying to catch Colonel on disk. He runs and hides as soon as he sees the camera. |

Mariso,
Cry Baby was already named that when I got him, and it is the only name he will answer to. I am not too sure that I like it either, but I adore the bird that wears it, so I cope. He is the sweetest bird that I have ever encountered. |

Thanks Lynzi,
Even though poor Colomel is anything but socialable yet, we are still very proud of them both. Colonel has shown some sogns of softening a wee bit, since Cry Baby has arrived on the scene, so we are hoping to have him more socialized within the year sometime. When the day finally comes that we can hold him, I am going to be thrilled, and so VERY proud. And I know that day will come with time, love, and patience.
