That's awesome that you do that for the unfortunate birds!
We just lost our childhood Mollucan "Mitch" to cancer. He was in our family for about 17 years. He had been part of the traveling petting zoo for the past 6 years now. He was rescued and we had no clue how old he was. Living as long as they do, the petting zoo was his opportunity to travel the world!

Hi, Crystal. You are a remarkable youngster - the world could use more like you! I have to admit that your stories broke my heart - of all the things I don't "get", bird abuse tops the list.

Thanks for your nice comments on my homepage - I don't know the fireworks program -but I do enjoy "post processing"!

Keep up the good work.

Best regards from CJ, Budgie and Sheila!
Oh, and THEIR mommy, of course! Very Happy

Crystal,

Sounds like you are doing wonderful work with your birds. So happy that you and your parents were there for them!

We adopted all three of our birds as well... but I'm not sure we would know how to nurture and bring out abused birds as you do!
