Awww, I too am so sorry for your loss of your dear Olly I know how devastating it can be.
Not that he will ever replace Olly, but I hope that Pi will help to fill the void. |

 I'm sorry about Olly. Like you read, I went through a loss too. Birds are so unique and even though the breeds look alike, they all have completely different personalities. I found that I fell in love with my new birds personality very fast.
Your pictures are great! I laughed at your comment about your husbands picture taking abilities. Like you said though, for a moving picture it sure did show it's beatiful wings! I hope to get a lucky shot like that too soon of my birds.

I was sad to read about what happened to Olly...
Before I had Boris I had a Crimson Rosella Parakeet (I should add his photo), he was really handsome and very quiet and happy (always chirping). I was sure I could tame him fast! But unfortunately two months later he died in 2 hours time of pneumonia... It happened so fast I was devastated... His name was Payun.
A few months later I got Boris... and well, you already know all about him!
Hope you get on well with Pi!

I've lost 2 fids before and I know how it feels for both the bird and us

Pi you are lovely and have wonderful wings, how the traming going? my Julie is still trying to tame me  most of the time i am good and love a kiss and cuddle but then i just have to bite  but then it shows i love her

Love your parrot!!! I'm sorry to hear about your senegal passing away. Did u ever find out how he passed away? I'm curious. Just because I have one too. I am really careful with him. I do want to take him to the vet and have him tested for any diseases. I had a lovebird and he passed away last year. I had him for 10 years. He was my baby. I miss him sooo much. Hubby bought me the Senegal because he knew I missed my other bird. I fell in love with Sparky right away. |
