Cool photos!!! especially pics with Iago making his fluffies.org!!! I wanted to ask is Iago's and other parrots wings are clipped? They don't fly away. And what is people's reaction when they see you walking with parrots? |

Hi there!
Thank you for your compliments..
My parrots' wings are all clipped. But Iago wouldn't fly too much when he had his wings, nor did Zazu!
Flit was a very good flyer by the way..
The first response I get from people usually is: 'Doesn't he fly away?' 'Lorre!' (With a funny voice) (As if my parrots would talk with these ridiculous voices LOL!)
The most ridiculous thing I ever heard was the question if I had dyed Zazu. (Because of his colors) As if I would do that!
Or the question people asked to each other: Would they be of the same species? (Referring to Iago & Zazu: Senegal parrot & Major Mitchells, do you see any thing they have in common?!)

Oh Sue! I always love seeing your photos! Iago, Zazu & Flit are SO cute! Altho I bet Zazu would much prefer to be called something like beautiful, or regal, or something a little more sophisticated than cute !
And the video clip is just great! What editing program do you use? I use Windows Movie Maker. I'm going to have to work on getting some video of Poppy & Manu to post. |

I looove your homepage and your birds. I have never seen a senegal parrot before Iago is very beautiful. I love peach faces and leadbeaters. We call them Major Mitchells. I think you have already seen my Koko. I love how Zazu, Iago and Flit are all such really good friends.

The video of your parrots is so cute! It's a pity poor little Flit was rejected though, poor little thing just wanted to help out! |

Iago is one very cooool bird . Your homepage is fantastic. Love the pic of Iago playing dead on his back. I hope it teaches other parronts not to give alcohol to their fids. Flit is absolutely adorable also. It is so nice to see all of them getting along so well.
I know from your diary pages that little Flit has passed over the rainbow. We will miss him, but we will always have his pictures and videos to forever watch. |

Thank you SO much! When I got Qwill, I was reading a series of books called "The Cat Who....." series....the main character in it is named James Qwilleran, and his nickname was Qwill....I wanted to name him Qwill because his questioning personality reminded me of Qwilleran.....Weird, I know, but He's Literary!!!
