Sad sorry to hear of the loss of your little budgie. they are both so cute. its good to have photos of your fids. maybe you can frame a photo of the one who passed. I made a memorial photo frame of my beloved tiel Digger who died last year. I used 2 cute pics, some of his feathers that I saved, and his favorite toy bell. it hangs in my room so I can always see and remember him.
I hope your new bird gets along good with the other one. how is he doing after his buddy's death? Sad Sad

Thanks sentiels3 and shirin!
Well to tell you the truth sentiels3, i really dont know how he took it!You see,my female died because she had candida. My male was infected too and he was in very very bad situation. That was before 1 month.i took him at the vet, i gave him shots and after 3 days he was better than ever!!!I have to say that i did a terrible mistake.I feel responsable for this situation because i bought the female a month after the male and i put her at the same cage the same day! At the pet shop said to me that this is o.k. and i will have no problem.... and i was a newby!Anyway now he seems very happy and energetic. He is not tamed.I tried but i bought him when he was at least 1 year old.So you understand that is very difficult. But its o.k. I just want to see him happy.I work many hours so i thought that i have to forget my old female and give to pok a new one so he dont feel loneliness. The only problem is that maybe pok is carrier of candida. But i will go to the vet tomorrow for both and i hope i will find how healty they are.And that my storie Smile

Smile your new bird is adorable. you should make sure you spend time with her to tame her. and its a very good idea to take your birds to the vet. take both the male and new female. just because they are budgies doesn't mean they shouldn't get vet checks at least twice a year. my 3 birds go at least 3 times a year for wt checks and wings and nails clipped and general health check with the vet. they are your babies and need health checks too. Smile Wink
