Very Happy WOW! I just checked back and what a great difference. I love Robin the redbellied parrot, very cute and cuddly. Terry and Gryffin also very personable birds. I am sorry to here of the loss of little Adrion the pionus. What a cute baby, Adrion is flying free now over the RainBow Bridge.
I can't wait to check back to see more updates, great job on the homepage! Cool

I'm sorry about Adrion Crying or Very sad Bronze-wingeds are my favorite of all the pionuses, their colours are just stunning, and Adrion was no exception! May she rest in peace.

Unfortuntely through the homepages is the only way to message eachother right now. But don't worry, Sue is working on getting the pm problem fixed. I'm sure we'll have it back soon enough Smile

see the emoticon panel when you're typing a response, at the bottom of it it says "View more Emoticons". Click on it and a new window should pop up with all the animated emoticons Nanaaa!

Robin looks SOOO cute and fluffy in all of his pics (especially the first) I just wannna squeeeze him!! Laughing But he'ld bite me..but that would be ok..I have an wacko sennie right now..who keeps me supporting the band-aid companies..he once bit my friend thru her fingernail, and attacked my mom and tried to get my dad and bit my uncle too..yes he likes to brag as well. Laughing

Cubans are soo pretty aren't they? I live the coral colours and the snowy white. They do look like pirate parrots. Terry is very cute. She does look funny when she's whistling! I like that pic. Smile

Gryffin is a very pretty girl as well. I do love her nice purple belly. Her orange-tipped tail is beautiful, I never knew they had that. Female ekkies have such bright and vibrant colours! I love them as well. Its said female ekkies are more moody than males. Do you think thats true? Laughing

I'm very sorry about Adrion. Crying or Very sad He had a wonderful life with you and is now over the rainbow bridge. Sad He was a truely beautiful bird and did look like he had a lot of personailty and that you loved him very much and he loved you. Comfort

hi Julie!!
Thanks for the comment on my diary page!!
I talk to my birdies like they're humans....so when they say something to me, I say something back...
it's sweet your babies said hi back to me!!!!!!!
Mack is doing much better already.....
he still is a little nippy when I get him out of the cage, but once he's out he's fabulous....
I've tried the positive reinforcement with the 'Tiels....but neither one wants to take anything from my hands....
I figure if I keep trying and as time goes by it will happen....
the other birds get excited for their training sessions....
they finally get they're favorite treats when they do what they're supposed to do!!

Thank you for the comment on my page as well. Smile

Yes it all really does depend on the bird I guess. A parrot rescue owner told me male ekkies make nice pets. I have never had one. Smile

and yes, pois can bite!! I adopted Cheekie..about a year ago..on July 9th..So I dont know about his childhood..he was 15 yrs when I got him and is 16 now..I dont know his hatchday so I celebrate his adoption day..the day before my bday..July 9th.. Smile

Hi Julie, thankyou for your comment on my web page.
I love your web page and your birds. They look gorgeous.

Regarding you question about Correllas, Fester is just visitor to our place.
We "bird-sit" him when his parents go on holidays. He's an amazing character, very funny, naughty and cheeky. He talks beautiffuly too.
I do not know very much about these birds, although they are native here to Australia. In fact, I see flocks of them sometimes on my morning walks. They are very, very noisy.
