Hi, I feed Biggles a special mixture of food, like ceral that I get from the
pet shop and mix with water, especially made for Lorikeets. She loves brocolli, mashed potato, eggs, lettuce and baked beans also.

Wow !!! I loved your page, and your lorikeet it's just perfect. It must be really cool having those wild lorikeets flying and playing in your back yard. That's why I would like to come to Australia cause of Parrots hehe.

Thankyou for your nice comments. There are a lot of Lorikeets on the east coast of Australia and I love putting out food for them every morning. They fly in and sit in my palm trees waiting for their breakfast. The only problem is they are very noisy. They are so gorgeous to watch though.

Biggles is a girl and does not talk. She has lots of lovely whistles instead.

We have a lot of wild lorikeets in this part of Australia. They like the warmer weather. We do not have many budgies, but there are lot of wild budgies in other parts of Australia.

It muat be pretty cool taking your birds with you to places. Do they just stay with you/near you or do they go for a look around?

Hi, we take our birds into work with us each day. They have the choice of sitting in their little carry cages for a sleep, sitting on our shoulders or playing around our desks. Sometimes Biggles (the lorikeet) crawls inside my clothes and goes to sleep. Do you have birds too?
