Smile Hi Linsey, loved reading about your birds. Sounds like you are doing a fantastic job with all 3. Are the birds kept in the same room? Have they been around each other? Can't wait to see some pics of them. Good start on the homepage.

The pic of you and Quill in the mirror is a good one. Sonnie is a very bright and colorful bird. Oskar is a great name for a grey, very professor like, intelligent talker. can't wait to see more Laughing

Hi kBird Whisperer Very Happy Thank you for your lovely comment on my homepage!
All the photos on your homepage are quite lovely & I loved reading the summaries about all of your beautiful furry & feathered pets! It sounds like you are doing a wonderful job with all of them Laughing
WoW! It sounds like Oskar has got quite a fab vocab! Manu, my macaw, has a very limited vocab, but he's my big baby all the same Wink

Thank you for the comment on our home page. A new Conure, it is tough waiting. I bought Ann (GW) from a breeder when see was only 4 days old. I finally got to bring her home at 12 weeks, It was a looooong 12 weeks. Good luck on your wait, I know your Conure will be fine all full of love and joy that babies bring into your life.

Very Happy thanks to all of you that have commented on my page!!!
training and taming these birds was a difficult process...but all the scars and bruises have been well worth it. I now have three terrific birds and ten terrific animals. I have decided on the name Hope for my new baby...boy or girl...because of the following quote...
"Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in your soul"
I still may not name the baby Hope if it's a boy though....I haven't decided...it seems kind of odd to name a little boy Hope to me....
hah
thanks again for all of your wonderful comments....
there are more pictures coming soon!!!!
I should have a picture of the new baby by Thursday...[[today is Tuesday, sept. 12]]

thank you all!!!

Hope is a good name for her. I am sure that she will live up to that name with you as her mom..

[b]Just an update...
Sonnie is starting to really truely love me. He willingly gives me kisses and is eager to come out to be with me...
Oskar is flourishing in our house and is learning more words every day...
he latest conquests are "I love you" and "can I have a big kiss?...MUAH!"
Qwill had his first [[and second]] baths and has been excited to go into my bathroom to bathe himself...he still won't let me stroke his head or back, but he loves to perch on my finger and give me kisses...He has also discovered that he can run around on the floor....he always just wants to do that....
I decided [[after I saw all the babies]] that I wanted something different...I wanted a new kind of bird...So I decided that my next baby will be a White-Capped Pionus...he [[or she]] is about a month old and I see him [[or her]] tomorrow and I'll take some pictures...
LOVES
Lynzi Marie

Very Happy New birdy pics are great.

Have you voted yet for prettiest bird in the beauty photo contest. You can vote for 2 birds, 1 bird for heat # 1 and 1 bird for heat #2. My birds are in heat #2. Contest is under whats new and updated under diaries or under the diaries pages section. Look for the Beauty Photo Contest. Look at all the pretty birds pics then at bottom of page it will direct you as to where to go and vote.

HAPPY VOTING!! The birds need votes! Laughing
