you're Pepper is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want an Eclectus......they're soooooooooooo pretty!!!
are they a huge handfull or are they pretty laid back do you think?
my Sun is really loud alot...but I think he's got some mental issues left over from his previous homes.....
there will be certain times during the day that they will naturally be louder...
at dawn and at dusk....
but I think that's true for every bird....or most every bird.
and it kind of depends on the bird itself.
Sonnie is really loud because of his past experiences....
but a younger bird will be easier to show when it's allright to yell, and when it's not.
truth be told, the noise doesn't really bother me, but there are people that it really gets to.
maybe spend some time with someone that has a Sun...or at a pet store that has one......and listen to their vocalisations....and make up your mind that way......
to one person a Sun's voice practically doesn't exist.....to others it's intollerable.
I'd reccomend a Sun to anyone who would take good care of their birds......
their antics would sure overpower any noise that would come out of their beaks..... |

If I could find an Ekkie somewhere....I think I'd have to buy one....but, like you, there aren't breeders or anything around here!
They sound like wonderful birds! And I think one would be nice for my dad....he can't handle the other birds much because of allergies....
but if you do come across a Sun...especially a hand friendly or hand raised one....I would soooooooo consider it!!
they are sure clowns...I can just sit for hours watching what my Sonnie does....
Good luck on finding one!
