Hi Nadia - love your bird's profile - very sweet photo. I look forward to seeing your home page evolve - I'm sure you will have lots of photos & stories to tell us very soon.

I think Quakers are great birds. Try out the 'building habitats with sticks game' - they love to be busy & it is very entertaining to watch. You can even offer straws instead of sticks. Being mechanical, they can be pretty amusing - so have fun finding foraging toys.

You said your bird loves seeds - they all do. Try other foods now too - as a young bird is easier to train onto a more balanced diet than an older bird. Many bird boards have a recipie section - this one too. It can be a sharing experience trying out new foods. I was looking after another bird recently & one of the most fun things was offering food as toys & seeing the reaction.
