Lovely Pictures!
CJ must be sooo much fun. What a wonderful bird.
I too loved the frames, I need to get a digital camera that works, so for now mine are only phone cam pics. I hope to someday have pics like yours!
I too hate abuse, I just saved mine from a terrible home, with dogs, ferrets and kids, all rough with the birds.
Cant wait to see more of your pics! |

Hi there!
Your CJ is a really funny bird! I loved the photos where he finally climbs into the TeePee!
Guess what?? My Senegal Parrot Boris also loves bells! He doesn't sleep under them (what a great photo!) but he uses them as a mirror and to scratch his head (what a strange idea???). And something else in common : when one of his feathers comes off his nibbles the "fleshy" bit and sometimes holds it as if he ere using it to write a letter! It also serves as a head-scratcher sometimes too!!
Hehehe those parrots are such fun...
Have a great time with your CJ!

Your pictures are great, love the framing you did. Also liked the two pics you did with the paint feature. Great homepage. Birds are adorable. |

Hi,
Oh my gosh!!! Sigmund looks just like Zazoo when she was little. Cute!!! I showed her Sigmund, she looked for a second then went back to grooming herself. Oh Moustache Parakeets are wonderful. I loved Zazoo to death. You know she has her own blanky too. She loves to cuddle with my 12 year old son. He wraps her up like a fahita(not sure of spelling) and she grunts like crazy. Does Sigmund? In response to the monkey sounds..... yes we have that too. We feel like we are in the jungle and yes they are very VOCAL!!!! Ear peircing sometimes when she is on my shoulder. Does Sigmund purr? So Sigmunds beak is going orange? So Sigmund is a male? Zazoo kept her black beak and rosey breast. They are so affectionate when they want to be. Do you find that they have a different bond with everyone in the home. With me she is fiesty, likes to hang out watch CSI. loves to have a shower with me every morning. Yes, every morning when I get ready for work. She must, or all hell breaks loose. She gets sooo mad at me if I do not take her in the shower. With my son she is a suck!!!! She chatts up a conversation with him. Cuddle time is expected from him. He has snuggle time everynight. She looks forward to this time with him. Part of her routine. If he goes for a sleep over, she cuddles with me but it's not the same. She will lay for a bit but she is not settled because he is not home. Anyway, I could talk for hours about these guys and I am sure you can too. This is great that I found someone to talk about Moustache Parakeets with. Please keep in touch, let me know all the new things that Sigmund is doing, we will compare.
Take care, Simone and Zazoo aka "Chicken" |

Thanks for your comments - reminded me I need to update CJ's diary again!
btw - don't be so sure that Pretty is a boy just cause he's never laid an egg. CJ is pushing 14 or 15 (I have to check to be sure) and has never laid an egg. We had to take her to the vet to be sure she was OK with some picking she was doing - they DNA'd her and found out he was a she!
So you must be in Florida, based on your iguana story! I am too - West Palm. Where are you?
You know, during that cold snap, I heard on the news that the iguanas and the anoles were falling out of trees left and right! Didn't see any myself, but that's a cool photo.
My camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20. They don't make them new anymore, but I just had to replace mine (I ran over the original and couldn't afford to upgrade) and found one on ebay for just over a coupla hundred dollars!). I like it alot - doesn't quite fit my needs for the other photographic stuff I do (if you want to check out my website, it's perryphotopics.com - feel free to sign the guestbook there, too!), but it does a great job for personal stuff.
Thanks again for the comments! As alwasy, Fluffies brings me a smile!

West Palm, too? How funny! Hubby and I have been here since '91. We're in Wellington.
Looking forward to your future diary pages! |
