Kelly doesn't look too young, because her Iris(eye) has a light colloured ring around it, which i think indicates that. |

Hi again I should have read a bit more before writting to you . Its true that
all parrots love sun flower seeds and peanuts . Iv read that its not a good idea to give parrots to many peanuts because there is a chemical they put in them that can make parrots sick . The other thing with the sun flower seed is that all parrots if allowed get addicted to them . You should feed your parrot fruits and veggies . You can buy bags of mixed frozen veggies and thaw them out daily for feeding . You should buy fresh fruits and feed them as well , not as a treat but as the main meal . Many people with parrots also feed boiled eggs . cooked beans , rice and noodles . The better you feed your parrot the better they will feel . Just keen a realy close eye on the bird when you are making changes to the diet . Sometimes they dont like change so its something you will have to work on over time . |
