I love your page! Your feathered babies are so sweet. I love cockatiels. We had one named Jo Jo. He was stolen while he was at the pet sitters We were out of state for my father in law's memorial service so it was a double blow. He was the coolest. His cage was right by the living room window and he imitated all the song birds in the yard. He also was a ladies man. If a girl/lady entered a room he was in he would wolf whistle and say pretty girl. We still miss him but our little J.P. is helping fill our hearts with joy. My husband and I look forward to updates on your page.

Your birds are so gorgeous! My budgie likes to pick bark off branches too, I get some sticks from outside and put them in his cage for perches and let him go nuts I change them every few months or so so he gets to pick at more bark! He likes to scratch an itch on the knots on the sticks too, I'll have to take a photo of him doing that one day because he looks so cute when he does it! |

First visit to a site and weblog page.
All I can say is beautifully presented and such great pictures of acouple of great characters.
I am form United Kingdom and over here we call your mikki mac Budgerigars, perhaps in States you call them Australian Parakeets which is where I have got muddled.
Any way you have produced abrilliant effort.
Are you following the Chet and Dae Womach system of training at www.BirdTricks.com?
Kind regards

Great homepage, loved reading every story. Sorry to hear what happened to Macky the keet. Its hard when you loose a fid. I still miss my tiel Digger who died last year.
I am so glad that you were able to find Mickey keet when he got away. He is such a cute bird.
B-Mack is a wonderful addition to the family. Looks like he gets along great with Mickey. and yes they are spoiled with all their toys and swings, but what bird isn't. It's hard not to buy a new toy for your bird when you find one. Too bad we can't claim them as dependents at tax time.
Hope to see more birdie antics soon |

Aww Sarah, I love your page! Your story of Macky is so sweet and sad... no matter how long you have a bird, they always stay in your heart.
I love your pictures of your 'tiel and budgie! It's pretty funny that the little guy's in charge. Great job. |

Being a Budgie person, i found your homepage very entertaining.
Too bad about Macky. Your Opaline hen looks so much like my friend's male [Jerry] & they have a female Tiel [Lulu]. But Lulu finds Jerry to be a pest & although Jerry does a perfect Tiel voice it didn't soften her heart. Now Jerry has a pal - an English male Budgie & all is back to a balance of sorts.
I too have an Opaline but Rio is now only 4 months old & instead of a normal like yours he's a Grey wing & a Dilute so looks like a ghost of yours.
Guess i'll have to hop over to your diary to check on your other birds,
Jac |
