Hi Sarah! I wanted to thank you for the lovely comment on my home page!
I know I've said it before on the forum, but Macky & Micky are both such great looking birds! I've always loved the beautiful colors of parakeets! And again, I am so sorry about the loss of Macky
And I really like the idea of that bird bath Has Micky been using it? |

She never has really taken a true bath. I think she was more interested in finding a way out My other budgie that passed away used to love to take showers with me. I am hoping that Micky will eventually learn to take a bath! She preens all the time and is clean, but I wonder if she should be getting wet?
Thank you all for your kind words! |

Hi Sarah,
What a brilliant Homepage... I loved reading it - so sorry to hear about Macky, and was worried when I read about Micky... but Phew all was alright in the end - I tell ya your home page is a roller coaster ride!!
Keep posting the photos - you know it always amazes me on how different all birdies are from each other...
Your new edition looks so sweet..
Cheers

Hi! I just visited your site. I was sad to hear about Macky, he looks a lot like my parakeet from yrs ago. His name was Petey. His belly was white and the blue portion looked like he was wearing a blue vest. He was very entertaining, more so than the TV. He had a game fore each toy in his cage. He died suddenly at age 4 1/2 yrs of kidney tumors and liver disease. Vet told us he should have died the first year that he was diagnosed. He had two meds to take for his liver and kidneys. He was a joy to have and we still miss him to this day. He got us hooked on birds. We started with 3 keets, then to tiels and now a senegal. I love my fids!
Remember to keep wings clipped and know where your bird is at all times. We keep our house birdproofed and we let all visitors know the bird rules. Have fun with your new birds, they are cute. |

Hey Great page you've got going there!! Love all the pics and stories you have. so cute to see the both of them hanging out together.
Have you thought of starting diary pages? It works the same as the homepage, except it gives you as many different pages as you like.. so you can have a seperate entry for all the different days you want to put in.
Love your homepage. |
