Love the update! That picture of Cruzito where he's on the beach at 5 months is soooo precious!
Did you adopt Coque from another family, or from the petstore? I'm curious to know why he was in bad shape when you got him  It's nice to see that he ended up in such a loving home in the end |

With Coque was a sad history, I found him in an mexican pet shop, in very bad conditions. The saleman told me Coque was no older than one year old. But of course he lie, because the yellow in his head is more than one year. So anyway, he didn't want him anymore at the pet shop, the poor bird was in there for almos a year and nobody was interested in him because he like to scream really bad. And he does.
But in some mexicans pet shops dont take care of them very well, for that reason he was in bad shape. He used to eat only sunflowers seeds and no more. It was a big challenge to swich for pellets,fruits and vegetables.
Now he's eating everithing.. ha ha ha ha ha
He don't talk at all, just sounds.. and are not music for your ears.
By the way, I got him in agust 2005.

WOW, I just saw the update pics!!! What amazing photos they are!! I just love the baby photos!! So CUTE!! I want him.. hehehehe... You're very lucky to have such beautiful birds. They are all very precious. and also Coque is very lucky to have found a good and loving him for him. he looks like he's very much loved and enjoying life now. Thank you so much for posting the pics and telling the stories. |
