Hi Pam, Zazu weighs about 390 grams or so? I haven't put him on the scale for quite some time.
First, let's see some pics from you.. ( You can upload them here http://www.fluffies.org/en/fluffies_myalbums.php ) Then I'll think of putting some of my own babies online LOL! Twisted Evil Laughing Laughing Laughing

I wasn't aware of the fact that major mitchells could grow this huge. In the books, they don't go over 500 grams. But if your babies are that big, the books must be wrong.
Does your scale indicate the grams? Or ..?

Hi Sue, You might be right because I got concern over their weights and I wanted to make sure their last weigh ins were correct, when I took the 3 mm2's to have their nails done....So I called the Dr. and she seems to think that their might have been a clerical error and that somehow when typed up the number may have been transposed because she too feels the numbers are too high! She said I can bring them back in to be weighed again (free of charge) but what she really wants me to get is a weighing scale incase they ever get sick I can keep an eye on their weight.

So my guys might not be as big as I thought but I will say Sun Dance is still a big boy and larger than my females (visually)...he weighed at 6months 380!!LOL
Now that's a big boy!hehe But I'll find out
how just how big!lol Well atleast Zazu won't have to be afraid of having a giant for a friend now!Smile~Pam

380 is quite something at that age, I think! Perhaps he'll be something over 400 now. I don't have a chart of Zazu's weight when he was that young. Just a photo of him on a scale when he was a pinfeather baby. ( http://www.fluffies.org/en/flu.....mp;start=2 picture 7 and Cool

Zazu already fell down from his perch. He trembled with fear when I told him Sun Dance was that big. LOL!

PS You really should get a scale.. Very handy when you suspect illnesses. Though not concluding, it might aid in recognizing illness.

Don't get a scale like that one please. It's not accurate at all. It did give some cute photos, didn't it? Heart
It was a long time ago. Almost 9 years ago! Shocked

I would just go to a normal shop and buy a good accurate scale. Smile You can attach a perch on it yourself.
Or you can put them in a carrier and weigh the whole carrier with and without birds. Smile
