A friend of mine is looking for a bird, she wants one that is colourful, would a rainbow lorikeet suit her Question Question

I wouldn't do it. Though loris may look wonderful, they are not good starter birds from what I've heard. Both in care as in training.

Yeah, my parents have two rainbow lorikeets, as cute as they are, they are A LOT of work and time to take care of. They are very very messy, you have to constantly clean after them. I would definitely not recommend a lorikeet.
