I am looking for more info on pelleted lory diets. I have found very mixed info. Breeders I have talked to say that nekton or lory life nectar are what should be fed along with specific fruits and veggies that are low in iron. I have spoken to my local zoos and they both feed pretty bird lory pellets daily along with nectar. If anyone has more info I would love to hesr it. Thanks!!

I probably wouldn't recommend pellets for lorikeets. Their tongues are design to eat soft food like nectar and fruits. My parents has two rainbow lorikeets, we did try pellets for a short period of time, but decided against it since they didn't seems to enjoy it anyway. They do love their warmed through nectar.

Re: Lory pellets
I knew there were pellets for lorikeets but I'm too inexperienced with loris to recommend those pellets.
